It was formed from the cross between two South-Central Asian indica landraces which are Hindu Kush, from the mountainous Pakistan-Afghanistan border, and a purple-tinged variety of Afghani. The flavors of Purple Kush on the other hand do not entirely separate from its aroma but it has a distinct taste of skunk, berry, and sandalwood. this is the second time iv ordered from sonoma. i ordered a 5 pack of white widow autoflowers and received 7. all of which germinated no problem and all but 1 were female. im also a breeder so that didnt bother me to much. i grew it anyway for the sacks. this time around i ordered 5 purple kush autoflowers and received all 5 in a very timely manner. they even came in the original packaging from king crops seeds which i thought to be very cool. they also came with a king crop booklet with germ info and a list of their genetics and more. all 5 seeds germinated and are doing good. iv have a 100% germ rate with sonoma seeds which i didnt get from the number 1 seed bank. i think mister bergman could stand to learn a few things from sonoma. again, this site has been an absolute pleasure. you have a customer for life

I would love to know what his male looks like that created these seeds, the structure of Sonoma Seeds plants are amazing. This Purple Kush plant he has created was my first attempt at auto flowers and I butchered it, no fault to the plant it was legit my first grow ever, just ordered more to redeem myself now that I have a few grows under my belt. And being honest for the stress I put this plant under and it lived and still produced massive Cola’s blew my mind. I thought I was giving to much fertilizer but it ended up being due to my error, they were being fed water at ph4.0 and no nutrients the entire grow after I thought there must have been some in the soil because I misdiagnosed ph spotting as over fertilizering . Anyways these should not even had lived let alone produced bud, but out of the 4 plants I still got over a lb. They grew about 3 to 3 1\2 feet with your typical main cola then surrounded by 8 secondary huge Cola’s If you haven’t tried Sonoma Seeds yet I strongly suggest giving any of this strains a try.

One of the most good looking strains I have ever planted. This strain is very easy to grow that offers a good yield. What I like the most about this strain is its purple shade buds its very aesthetics very good to look at. Plus the aroma and the taste are both amazing because of its fruity flavor. This strain is very perfect when you are very tired, just like what it did to me, it relaxes my body and takes away all the tiredness within my body, and the high is very overwhelming. I am very much impressed with Purple Kush’s stunning purple bubs. Though 3 out of 5 seeds were germinated quickly, the 2 seeds took a lot of time to germinate. Her buds were sparkling with vibrant colors such as red, pink, and purple. She’s also very easy to grow and very resistant to molds and pests. With its very much abundant medical benefit like it enhances my appetite, makes me relax and most importantly it helps me with my insomnia this strain is perfect to use at night. Her amazing calming benefit is what I love the most because I usually used this strain after a long leg day.

She stayed strong throughout, and didn’t really need much training. I would feed a little heavier next time as she can handle it. The buds after a week of curing taste spicy, earthy, with a bit of pine. Burns nice, not harsh on the throat. I love the high it’s not too intense and I can still function. I won’t buy from anyone else!

This was by far the best results I’ve ever had growing this plant. The end product is amazing. Purple hues on flower with dark orange hairs and tons of crystals. The smell is very fruity and it tastes the same way. For me, I felt this was good on the anxiety and it wasn’t couch locking. It helps me being well rested. Purple Kush was a beautiful strain to grow, grew very solid without problems. I see the color of medium to deep purple all over the buds. Smells like berries and a hint of grape flavoring. Beautiful sleepy indica. No paranoia, total body melt, pain relief. Keep up the good work Sonoma?

Purple Kush was a nice strain to grow. This is a very sweet and potent bud. I have to say that the smell of this plant literally made my eyes burn, that’s how gassy she is and I love it! First grow ever with quality results! Her heavy buds were thick, hard oozing resin was potent and sticky. The effects are pretty balanced, leaning a little towards sedating. It really could be used any time. Great strain and super smooth. Totally recommend this strain and your company.
